proto2 ROCAT in rough sea trials in Mount's Bay, west Cornwall

These pictures were taken on the most enjoyable day of all the sea trials. Far from being mad or brave to go out in a sea like that, we had worked up to these conditions gradually and the boat felt incredibly safe – it was also remarkably dry.

The wind was blowing about 30-35mph, by the way.

Many people would not be the slightest bit interested in using the ROCAT in very rough seas, but it is reassuring to know that it can handle them so safely.
